Brian was born in Chicago, Illinois but at an early age, moved to Houston, Texas with his parents to be part of NASA and the Space Program. This exciting environment afforded him educational opportunities in both Art and Science with exposure to a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and emerging science fiction gaming. His family encouraged him to focus on his aptitude for Science, but he always knew that his first love was art and illustration.
Still open to both Art and Science, Brian pursued formal art education at the California College of Art (CCA) as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University (ASU).
During this time, he also worked professionally by creating the conceptual art designs for a new gaming company.
| Upon graduating from college, Brian received an opportunity to join IBM and later, Bluelake Enterprises as part of the IT industry as a programmer, Consultant, and later, Project Manager. He both led and was a team member supporting a variety of Fortune 500 companies in innovating new solutions, meeting tight schedules, and satisfying client requirements. However, as his career progressed, he realized that his true creativity and satisfaction came from his art which he had continued to pursue as a hobby.
Finally, in 2009, now based in San Francisco, he decided to modify the course of his career and focus on Art and Illustration while still maintaining the business acumen necessary for Client satisfaction. This represents his entree into the Art world as a new professional.
